Start Receiving Care and Services
Once you have signed your Home Care Agreement and have an individualized budget, your care and services can begin.
Your package starts on the day the Home Care Agreement is signed, not from the day that care is first delivered.
The care and services will be delivered according to the care plan as co-produced by the provider and you.
When you receives care at home, it’s essential that the Home Care Service Provider provides you with the necessary care while maintaining respect for your privacy and your home.
Staff are guests in your home and are limited in what they can and cannot do. If you, or a family member, have questions about what to expect, don't be afraid to ask. Communication is key to your care.

There may be some instances where you have a personality clash with the service working. You can ask the provider to change the staff who comes into your home. You can speak to your Care Manager if you have a concern. Remember you have the right to have your say about the care you receive and how you want to receive it.
