Can I make a complaint about the ACAT assessment?
Assessment Complaints
Assessment teams are employed by the State and Territory governments so each team is covered by the complaints procedures of each government. If you and the Assessor team cannot resolve an issue, you can raise your concern with the relevant State or Territory government. You must write to the Secretary within 28 days of receiving your letter from the ACAT.
It will not cost you any money to request a review of an assessment approval in the first instance. However, there will be a charge if you wish to take a decision on appeal to the Administrative Appeals tribunal.
